Account & Billing
The Account tab is shown only to the Organization's owner. It has two sub-tabs: Settings holds the Organization profile, plan and payment, and Services connects GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Jira and AWS: see Integrations.
Organization Profile
The Organization profile box has three fields and a Save button, enabled once you change a field.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Display name | The Organization's name as Testspace shows it. |
| Subdomain | The Organization's address: <subdomain>.testspace.com. When you change it, the old address stops working and you are redirected to the new one. |
| Owner | The owner, chosen from the Organization's admins. Choosing another admin transfers ownership: you become an admin and no longer see the Account tab, and the new owner gets an email. |
To make a member the owner, first make them an admin (see Users & Permissions).
Plan
The Current plan box shows the plan, its price and limits, and its features.
- Change: switch plans. For a plan billed by card, Testspace offers one alternative plan and its price for you to confirm: never a free plan, and never one whose limits are below what the Organization already uses; moving to a paid plan without a card on file asks for one. For a plan bought on GitHub Marketplace, it opens the plan's GitHub Marketplace page. On a plan with no alternative, Change is disabled.
- Cancel account: see Cancel.
An open plan has no Private Projects: every Project is Public or Archived.
Payment
The Payment info box shows:
- the payment method on file, with Change to update the card
- the current bill and its due date, when there is one
- Payment history: a list of receipts, opened in place
A plan bought on GitHub Marketplace is billed by GitHub: the box reads Details available at your GitHub account page, linking to your GitHub billing settings.
Plan Limits
When the Organization reaches a limit of its plan:
- Private Projects: creating a Private Project, or making a Project private, is refused with Maximum Private Projects already allocated.
- Results per month: publishing is refused once the month's Results go more than 10% over the limit (the Web API returns
423 Locked). - Users: Invite users isn't offered. Users who join automatically through a connected service still join, and a plan billed per user is charged for them.
While the Organization is over any limit, or a payment is overdue, every member sees a warning at the top of the page (Account is over the "…" subscription limit. or Account is payment overdue.), and members other than the owner are asked to contact the owner.
Cancel
Cancel account deactivates the Organization after you confirm: its Projects and service connections are deleted immediately and permanently, its subscription is cancelled, and its subdomain is released. User accounts are kept. See the refund policy. For a plan bought on GitHub Marketplace, the link opens the plan's GitHub Marketplace page instead.
